As a Chief Range Safety Officer, with years of range experience, it became clear that many first-time firearm owners simply purchase a tool and head to the range without the proper safety training. This lack of training endangers themselves and others around them, often ending in our asking them to leave the range and learn more about safety. Don’t make the mistake of having a friend or loved one training you, when “they” have not had professional instruction and are teaching you the WRONG way to shoot. Large class training often leaves the student with more questions than answers. I decided individual and small group training would benefit many first-time firearm owners and those newer shooters who want to fine tune their skills. Also, the increase in households concerned about their safety has grown exponentially. Researching the correct firearm to purchase and the laws around protection of your home must be understood. Home protection education is more important than ever before. Protecting yourself improperly could mean a jail sentence for you and the loss of your wealth.
